Sophie’s is the creation of chef Sophie Bermudes, who trained in Bordeaux and has spent the majority of her career working throughout the south-west of France. Having developed her keen sense for combining and contrasting flavours and textures, Sophie has come to Tasmania's East Coast and established herself at Milton VIneyard's cellar door. With her French approach to Tasmanian produce, along with a passion for food and meticulous attention to detail, Sophie’s offers guests a seasonal and delicious a la carte lunch menu in a relaxed environment.

Sophie's welcomes groups of under 10 people to dine a la carte on a walk-in, first-in first-served basis (no bookings).
Groups of 10 or more are required to have a set menu- please contact us at least a week in advance of your visit to allow us to create your menu.

Sophie’s is open Thursday to Monday from 11.30 to 16.30 until end of April 2019, reopening for Mother’s Day weekend, 11 & 12 May.
Our dedicated yet small team may not be able to attend to your phone call during the lunch service- inquiries are best directed via email.
Sophie's considers reservations made one week or more in advance for groups of ten or above. All others are welcomed on a walk-in, first-in, first-served basis.
